    How to add a text or logo watermark

    Choose your PDF, then select a text preset or upload a PNG/JPG logo. Turn on Repeat as a pattern to tile it across each page; adjust its spacing, angle, opacity and style. Leave page selection blank for every page, or enter ranges such as 1-3, 5.

    Use watermarks responsibly

    Use this feature on documents you created, own or have permission to modify. A watermark does not encrypt or secure a PDF; it is a visible label and can sometimes be removed by editing software. Do not use it to misrepresent authorship or remove someone else’s attribution.

    Frequently asked questions

    Does the watermark affect the original file?

    No. The browser creates a separate watermarked copy, leaving your selected original unchanged.

    Can I use a logo image as a watermark?

    Yes. Upload a transparent PNG or JPG logo in the Logo watermark tab. The image is embedded in your downloaded PDF.
